Jen Savage
Weekends 3pm-7pm
Jennifer Savage came into the world as a country girl, but was transplanted to Southern California while still impressionable. Elvis Costello's ImPeRiAl BeDrOoM album changed her life early on, and she still remembers being run out of her town's record store after asking for music by The Cure. Jennifer spent the early nineties having babies and slinging cocktails in a punk-grunge-rockabilly-shoegazer-blues club. The math claims she saw over 1200 bands during that time -- unfortunately, she is estimated to also have imbibed about 1200 cocktails simultaneously, so it's all a bit hazy. Currently, in addition to raising her brood and arguing with her husband about the historical value of new wave, she is Chairperson of Humboldt Surfrider.
