Myles Cochrane

Myles was rasied in Colorado and moved to Humboldt County in 2007 when he was 19. He majored in Journalism and Telekinesis at Humboldt State University.

In addition to hosting on the Slug he writes music stories for the Tri-City Weekly (Times Standard online). He loves to snowboard, read, go to the movies, play outdoors, play guitar produce local events and travel.

It was in high school when he garnered his first hours on the air, hosting a weekly rock show on a community-radio station. He deleved into high school athletics and was the vocalist of a teenage alt-rock band at the time as well.

He helped KRFH to win a national student radio award while at HSU. From June 2009 to November 2012 he was KSLG's night DJ, and from November 2012 to present he has been KSLG's noon to 6 p.m. host.
