30 Seconds to Mars: Hello, can you ear me?

Some bands are used to having all ears on them. Sometimes this is meant to be taken literally. 30 Seconds To Mars frontman Jared Leto told XFM that a fan once mailed him an ear:

"The fans are an incredibly committed and passionate group of people...Someone cut their ear off once and sent it to me, that was very strange. A whole ear. The Van Gogh move. The note just said, 'Are you listening?'. I never knew who it was, who's missing their ear out there...I poked a hole in it and wore it as a necklace."

Leto is also known for his acting. Will he get an eye next?

The new 30 Seconds to Mars album "Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams is due out May 17. Listen to KSLG for the new single "Up In the Air."
