Whether you know it or not, everyone on the north coast is affected by marijuana.

Weed has long played a major role in Humboldt's culture, politics, social structure and economy, and it's emerging from the subculture faster than ever before.  

We're excited to air our new radio documentary series, "The Humboldt Chronicles: Dispatches from Marijuana Country." 

The first episode shows just how deep pot money runs in Humboldt's economy. It's hosted by SoHum journalist Kym Kemp and debuts on KSLG at 6pm on Tuesday, February 7th.
